An exciting opportunity for three Clinical Research Associates has arisen at the MRC Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases, UCL Institutes of Neurology and Child Health. The CRAs will have the opportunity to undertake experimental and/or clinical research in neuromuscular disease. A selection of projects in paediatrics and adult neuromuscular diseases are available. The MRC Centre offers exciting teaching and educational opportunities for dynamic and committed candidates.

The posts are suitable for adult and paediatric neurology or paediatrician or genetic trainees interested in neuromuscular disease. Applicants should hold GMC registration and MRCP, or equivalent, and be intending to pursue a career in academic adult / paediatric neurology or genetics. Excellent organisational and IT skills, the ability to act independently, and a very high level of patient care are also required. The posts will provide excellent training opportunities to broaden clinical and research skills, acquire experience of clinical trials and generate publications. Applicants are expected to pursue a higher degree during the three years research.

The posts are available from August 2015 (but start date is flexible) and are funded for three years in the first instance. Starting salary £34,220pa, inclusive of London Allowance, superannuable, on the UCL CL7 Grade.
